VISIT FLORIDA developed a program to assist businesses affected by Red Tide. The program was offered at no cost to core tourism businesses located in the following impacted counties: Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Sarasota, Manatee, Hillsborough, Pinellas, St Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, Okaloosa, Walton, Bay, Gulf, Brevard and Indian River.

Benefits included complimentary brochure distribution, lobby booth display at Highway Welcome Centers, complimentary VISIT FLORIDA Marketing Partnership, exposure on VISIT FLORIDA's media web site and on VISITFLORIDA.com.
