The Florida Adventure Travel Network (FATN) is a group of tourism industry professionals composed of DMOs and operators/outfitters with a vested interest in growing and promoting adventure tourism (specifically in rural counties) across the state. Through a private Facebook group, the group provides the following benefits:
- Networking opportunities
- Access to research (ATTA, VISIT FLORIDA, DMOs)
- Information and announcements regarding focused, adventure-oriented marketing efforts and initiatives in the state
- Collaboration with other stakeholders to grow and promote adventure tourism in Florida
- Sharing of best practices across the industry
- Continued education on adventure travel and marketing
- Ability to be a part of the adventure travel brand of Florida for future joint marketing opportunities and trade show presence
