Jeanne Dailey co-founded Newman-Dailey Resort Properties in 1985 with Randy Newman. In 1988, she bought out her partner’s interest and became the President and sole owner of the Real Estate Sales and Management Company. With a solid foundation in business acumen and integrity, Jeanne has built one of the most prestigious privately-owned vacation rental, property management and real estate companies in Northwest Florida. Over the past three decades, Newman-Dailey has become the trusted source for vacation rentals and property management services and was voted “Best of the Emerald Coast” Property Management Group by the readers of Emerald Coast Magazine for the last eight consecutive years. In addition, the real estate division consistently ranks among the top 10% of real estate companies according to the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors (ECAR).
Dailey is a visionary leader for vacation rentals and the tourism industry in the Destin area. She has been honored with the Pioneer Award for leadership in the vacation rental industry by VRMIntel as well as the prestigious Van Ness Butler Jr Award for tourism leadership by the Walton County Tourism Department. She lends her time and talents to the vacation rental industry by serving as a steering committee member for the FPVRC Political Action Committee and is an active member with the Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA).
She is also a passionate community steward and currently serves as the chair of the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, which supports 16 local non-profits helping children in need in Northwest Florida. As past chair of United Way of Okaloosa and Walton Counties and a former advisory board member for Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast, she has made her mark on the Destin community. Always a trailblazer, she was a founding director of Destin First Florida Bank and one of the first female Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Destin. Her unwavering community support and philanthropic endeavors earned her the distinguished Ann Gibson Community Service Award presented by the Destin Chamber of Commerce as well as the Pinnacle Award presented by 850 Magazine.
With an Associate in Fine Arts Degree from Sienna Heights University and BS Degree in Marketing from East Carolina University, Dailey is a licensed real estate broker since 1985 and a Florida licensed community association manager since 1989. Dailey credits her success to positive energy, and a close personal involvement in her company, community, family, and her valued employees.
